It is not yet announced in the user manual of online archives of the Orne , and yet: since September 12, the registers of civil status are now available online until 1902 [ 1 ] . Previously, only the 1893-1902 decennial tables were online: To view the acts of this period, it was mostly going in the reading room, the departmental archives at Alencon.
For legal reasons mid-mid-recommendations of the CNIL , the registers of civil status from the late nineteenth early twentieth century were not available on the web , mainly due to the possible presence of marginal notes . The CNIL reminded, in fact it was not possible to leave free consultation records of less than one hundred years. Archives considering them it is better not to make available either on the web documents containing the statements dated less than 100 years [ 2 ] . Guidelines applied in many departments having made the launch of their archives.
